Still can't get over the fact that my best friend won't be a bus stop away from me anymore/our Fridays together will be shortened/impromptu meet-ups (x)/our 'commonalities' ranging from HOP to Awfully Chocolate ......

This makes me sad. Very sad.

When I first saw you, I had my round glasses and bob cut. You had the cutest pup nose I've ever seen, completely black and really tiny. There was something about you that made me feel that you were different from the other miniature schnauzers. When you were brought to the vet, he kept insisting that you were a bad keep because of your asthmatic condition. I couldn't care less because I knew from the start that you were the right choice and I begged my uncle not to have you returned to the pet store. When I saw you today for the first time in > 5 years, it felt strangely familiar. You've gained quite a few pounds, grown a lot bigger but still as gentle as ever. Even my god brother claimed that you were the most quiet dog he had ever met in his entire life. The 1/5th of a second to fall in love rule totally exists. Officially crowned my 2nd favorite 8 year old in the world, Leron! Can't wait to see you again my boy!

Some photos from the countdown party to make up for the terrible lack of updates! 2011 had been a pretty bad year for me ... so I'm just hoping for the best this coming year. This is the 5th consecutive year spending New Year's Eve with the people who hv become a big part of my life even though I see them < 10 times a year.

School officially starts tmrrrrrrrrrr. The next 3 months aren't gna be easy - with the semestral examinations & GEMS training coming up ...... but I've gotta keep myself going. I! CAN! DO! THIS! LET'S GO 2012.
